  • Reducing the flammability of softwood and hardwood, as well as other wood derivatives such as plywood, particleboard, fibreboard and hardboard, including laminated (faced) boards ≥12 mm thick. It insulates the substrate from heat during a fire, prevents fire spread and reduces smoke density and the temperature of combustion products. It raises the fire-resistance limit of wooden structures to the 1st degree of fire resistance.
